E.G.O. Jegna Klub Student of the Week

Jegna Klub and truththereason.com are collaborating with Mayor Garners Office to help empower youths to become who and what they want. Each week we will recognize a Kindergarten through college student who is not only excelling academically, athletically (not required), behaviorally, and in attendance, but is also not afraid to stand up and out to take the lead in word and action; not only for their future, but for their school and their community!

This week our EGO (Empowerment Grows Opportunities) Jegna Klub Student of the Week is Alan “AJ” Watson a Senior at Park University and a graduate of Bonner Springs High School. A.J. stands out as an exceptional young man known for his integrity and kindness. Over a decade of acquaintance reveals his consistent dedication to helping others, from aiding fellow students to supporting teachers and coaches. Graduating from Bonner Springs High School, he's set to graduate from Park University, where he earned the Male Performance Award this year in Men’s Basketball. His commitment extends beyond academics and sports; family, friends, and faith hold significant importance as he joined the staff of the Kansas City Kansas School Foundation For Excellence. A pillar in his community, A.J.'s impact is profound, leaving a lasting impression on all fortunate to know him. - Nominated by former Administrator Nancy Hale
